British pianist Frederick Kempf, who will give a concert in Moscow on January 20, before traveling to Russia has registered on the portal "Gosuslugi". He told RIA Novosti about this.
"It has already been registered at Gosuslugi," he assured.
According to the musician, he has two passports — Great Britain and Germany.
"My family and I live near Munich, my wife is a famous violinist, four children, and the eldest daughter is applying for the Olympic swimming team according to the results," Kempf said.
Answering a question about the prospect of obtaining Russian citizenship, he said that "I haven't thought about it yet."
According to Kempf, during visits to Russia, he always goes to a good sports complex, and also visits friends.
"In Russia, I definitely go to a good sports complex, run 10 kilometers on the track, or swim 10 kilometers freestyle, and, of course, to visit my friends, where Russian cuisine and my Labrador buddy are waiting for me," the musician concluded.
Frederick Kempf received international recognition after receiving the III prize of the XI International Tchaikovsky Competition. That year, the First Prize was not awarded and, oddly enough, only helped the phenomenal career of the musician as in In Russia, and all over the world. In recent years, Kempf has increasingly appeared on stage as a conductor. During his career, against the background of numerous tours, Kempf recorded 21 studio albums, the last of which with sonatas by Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953) was released in 2019.
