The famous Russian actor Yuri Tsurilo, who played more than 140 film roles, passed away at the age of 80. The tragedy became known from relatives of the artist.
Yuri Alekseevich has a wife, Nadezhda, whom he married at the age of 18, as well as two sons— Alexey and Vsevolod.
"My father is gone! A wonderful man, the best dad in the world, a great actor Yuri Tsurilo, has passed away. The kingdom of heaven. Eternal memory," Vsevolod shared on his personal blog.
There is no exact information yet on what exactly caused the death. It is known that the actor died the day before, on August 26 at the age of 79. The date and place of the farewell is also not yet reported.
Yuri Tsurilo is known to many for his roles in such films as: "Khrustalyov, the car!", "In August of the 44th", "Saboteur", "Thunder Gate", "Chernobyl", "The Black Sea", "The Last Hero" and many others.
Earlier, EADaily reported that British actor and singer Tim Curry died at the age of 81. He died late in the evening on August 25 amid long-term health problems at his home in Los Angeles.
