In the popular ski resort of Courchevel, which is located in the French Alps, the five-star hotel Les Grandes Alpes, owned by Ukrainians, burned down.
According to the Strana newspaper, the luxury real estate destroyed by the fire was registered with French companies. Their owners are the founder of Concorde Capital investment company Igor Mazepa and his business partner Sergey Marfoot.
According to the agency, Les Grandes Alpes was one of the most luxurious hotels in Courchevel. The cost of rooms in it could reach more than £11 thousand per night in a season. The fire also burned down the neighboring Rendez-Vous boutique.
Earlier, EADaily reported that five people were killed and two injured in a fire in a private house in the village of Nyurbachan in Yakutia, the reason was a short circuit of the wiring.
