Russian anti-aircraft gunners destroyed the F-16 fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with two missiles

Russian servicemen managed to shoot down an American-made F-16 fighter, which was part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), with two missiles.

This was told by the commander of the anti-aircraft missile division of the S-300 complex of the Russian Armed Forces with the call sign "North" on the air of the program "Solovyov Live".

According to him, the destruction of the American fighter was the result of a separate complex operation, which was carefully developed by our military.

"We thought over this operation for a very long time. Caught, waited. Our enemy praises these planes very much, because they are indestructible. It turned out he was also falling… Not from the first shot — two missiles worked on it. We whipped him first, and the second one was already finished off," the commander said.

He added that since December 2024, a large number of targets have been shot down with the help of the S-300, including drones, ATACMS missiles, HIMARS shells.
