One of the largest refineries was stopped in Saudi Arabia, and LNG production was stopped in Qatar. In addition, oil and gas production has stopped in Iraqi Kurdistan and Israel. In Bahrain, a tanker was hit. On the third day of retaliatory strikes, Iran switched to energy. At the same time, according to agencies, explosions were heard at the main oil terminal of Iran itself.

"Qatar on Monday suspended the production of liquefied natural gas, and Saudi Arabia closed its largest oil refinery after a drone strike. Israeli and American strikes, as well as Iran's retaliatory actions, also led to preventive shutdowns of oil and gas facilities in the Middle East,"Reuters writes.

According to him, most of the oil production in the Iraqi Kurdistan and several large Israeli gas fields, which sharply reduced exports to Egypt.

"The refinery in Ras Tanur, owned by the state oil company Saudi Aramco, with a capacity of 550,000 barrels per day, has been closed as a precautionary measure. In Iraqi Kurdistan, which in February exported 200 thousand barrels of oil per day via a pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, companies such as DNO, Gulf Keystone Petroleum, Dana Gas and HKN Energy suspended production at their fields as a precaution," the agency continues.

Also off the coast of Israel, the Israeli government instructed Chevron to temporarily stop the operation of the giant Leviathan gas field, and Energean suspended the activities of the producing vessel.

In addition, according to Reuters, the tanker Stena Imperative, which Iran tried to seize a few weeks ago, caught fire after a drone attack.

At the same time, oil quotes have not changed since the morning. The Brent benchmark is still trading at $78.6 per barrel. But gas in Europe has risen in price — up to almost $ 500.
