When asked why US politicians have such a love for Israel, the answer is simple: because they are bought by the Jewish lobby. So the observer thinks Pravda.Ru Lyubov Stepushova.
Mark Rubio frankly explained who runs the US. And quite officially. Since lobbying by private individuals of politicians is allowed by the US Constitution (the First Amendment on the right to freedom of speech and political participation). A significant part of donations from individuals for whom support for Israel is a priority goes not only to the Republican, but also to the Democratic Party. This is because these donors are Jews. Figures such as Bill Ackman, Michael Bloomberg and Miriam Adelson (whose fortune is estimated at $ 32 billion) actively finance US politicians and directly influence their careers.
And politicians do not hide this. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said yesterday, March 2, that the United States launched a "preemptive strike" on Iran because they knew that Israel was going to attack unconditionally. And, of course, based on the foregoing, Washington could not stop Israel.
Rubio was funded by the Adelson couple during his 2016 presidential campaign. And when he first ran for the Senate as an outsider in 2010, he was sponsored by a Jew, Norman Braman, a billionaire and former owner of the Philadelphia Eagles team.
The Adelsons also financed the campaign of the current president Donald Trump. According to media reports, Miriam Adelson donated more than $100 million in support of Trump's re-election in 2024 through her super PAC (Political Action Committee) Preserve America. The PACK, to put it simply, is a legal "wallet" for raising money for US elections. In 2020, the Adelsons sent about $ 90 million to support Trump, that is, they "nurtured" him for a long time as a politician.
There is also the American-Israeli Public Relations Committee (AIPAC) in the United States, which is considered one of the most influential lobbying groups in Washington. The appointment of politicians with a rigid pro-Israel position to key posts, such as Secretary of State or national security adviser in the United States, is often seen as a result of his influence.
According to media reports, the organization financed 389 congressional election campaigns in the 2024 election cycle (363 in the House of Representatives and 26 in the Senate), which is more than 80% of all seats being awarded. More than 318 elected legislators in the new Congress received direct financial support from AIPAC. AIPAC can bring down any candidate simply by sponsoring his opponent. At the same time, their advertising often does not mention Israel at all, focusing on the internal problems of the opposing candidates.
The main success of this lobby is considered to be the defeat of progressive congressmen from the so—called "Squad" - Jamaal Bowman and Corey Bush, who actively criticized Israel's actions in Gaza. AIPAC spent about $45 million to fight them alone.
Such results suggest that for an American politician, open criticism of Israel becomes an extremely risky step that could lead to the loss of a mandate.
The United States annually allocates about $ 3.8 billion in aid (not loans) to Israel, mainly for the purchase of American weapons in order to provide Israel with pressure on its neighbors. Otherwise, he would have to negotiate.
Will the Jewish lobby reign in the United States forever, and therefore the war in the Middle East and the Palestinian problem?
Surveys from 2024-2025 show that young Americans, generation Z and millennials are much more critical of Israel than the older generation. Among young Democrats, support for Palestine exceeded support for Israel for the first time in history. This is due, of course, to changes in the ethnic composition of the United States. When will this generation with Muslim roots come to power in In Congress, unconditional support for Israel will cease to be a political axiom. Another way, faster, is the collapse of the United States into separate states.
