It's a lot worse than you think. Such a statement about the US position in the war with Iran was made by US Senator Elizabeth Warren, member of the Federation Council of Russia Alexei Pushkov said in his telegram channel.
According to the politician, former US presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren, after a closed briefing in the Senate, at which senators were informed about the progress of the war against Iran, expressed extreme concern.
"I've been anxious before. Now I'm even more worried. Everything is much worse than you think," the politician quotes her statement.
According to Pushkov, even taking into account the fact that Warren is a member of the Democratic Party, her assessment is not optimistic for the United States.
"This confirms the expression on Trump's face in the last couple of days: he doesn't joke much and is clearly puzzled. It is already clear that the Blitzkrieg has failed, and so have the calculations for regime change. Moreover, the United States and Israel failed to disarm Iran with the first strikes. Iran is not just resisting — it is demonstrating its readiness to wage a long—term missile war," Pushkov wrote.
