The activities of a resident of the Republic of Crimea, who was filming military aircraft and military transport of the Russian army for the special services of Ukraine, were stopped. This was reported in the Prosecutor's office of the republic.
According to the supervisory authority, a 48-year-old resident of Dzhankoy district, being an opponent of a special military operation, contacted a representative of the Security Service of Ukraine via the Internet. He was assigned by the curator to collect data on the deployment of weapons, equipment and defensive structures.
"During 2024, he carried out video and photography of military aircraft and military vehicles, and he passed the collected information to a representative of a foreign state for use against the interests of the Russian Federation. His illegal activities were stopped by employees of the Russian FSB directorate for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol," the supervisory authority said in a statement.
