NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte spoke about a conversation with Vladimir Zelensky in London. He told CBS News that he wants to "make a deal."

"He wants to make a deal, and we need to make sure that we also convey this to the Russians to make sure that they are ready to play by the rules," he said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that Moscow is ready for a peaceful settlement on Ukraine with the elimination of its root causes. He noted that Russia wants to end the conflict by peaceful means. The head of state called the conditions for the ceasefire the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the territory of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, the recognition of these regions and Crimea as part of Russia, the neutral and nuclear-free status of Ukraine, its denazification and demilitarization, as well as the lifting of all anti-Russian sanctions.
