Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian thanked the leadership and people of Russia for their support.
"President Putin's messages and the support of the Russian people inspire us in this war. On behalf of the people of Iran, I thank the government and the people of Russia," the Iranian president wrote on the social network X in Russian today, March 26.
Massoud Peseshkian also noted that "the resistance and courage of the Iranian people" contribute to the security of the countries of the region.
Peseshkian had previously thanked Putin for humanitarian assistance to Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi noted that Tehran receives assistance from the Russian side in many areas.
