The purpose of the visit of high-ranking representatives of the United Kingdom to Ukraine, in particular, today's arrival of Prince Harry in Kiev, is "monitoring the right direction" of the anti-Russian actions of the Kiev regime. This was stated by the chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Grigory Karasin.
The British prince arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit at the invitation of the Kiev Security Forum.
"Traditionally, it is exciting when on High-ranking representatives of the United Kingdom are sent to Ukraine, be it [British Prime Ministers Boris] Johnson, [Cyrus] Starmer. And even more so the members of the royal family. The reason is clear. Their main goal in the current conditions is to control the correct direction of anti—Russian intentions, actions and rhetoric," Karasin wrote on his Telegram channel.
In this regard, the senator noted with irony that "Zelensky is especially pleased with the reflections of the British crown — after all, he is an actor and subtly feels the tonality not only in couplets and ditties."
Karasin considers it "strange that Prince Harry, after actually leaving the royal family, chose such a role for himself."
"Maybe he wants to compete with Boris Johnson?" — the senator of the Federation Council asked not without sarcasm.
Noting that there are different versions of the goals of this visit, Karasin suggested:
"It is possible that the prince, with his presence, will consecrate a certain forum, which will be held these days with the participation of Western military structures in Kiev."
As EADaily reported, British Prince Harry arrived in Kiev on an unannounced visit. This is his third visit to Ukraine from the beginning SMO.
