The effectiveness of the "coalition of the willing" is zero. This was stated by the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrei Babis.
Speaking about whether the Czech Republic will join the defensive architecture being created to counter ballistic missile strikes, Babis said that this is likely to be just another "declaration from which nothing will work out." At the same time, he noted that "the result of the Czech Republic's participation in the coalition of the willing is zero."
At the same time, the Czech Prime Minister noted the need for the European states to jointly develop a missile defense system comparable to the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile system. According to him, cooperation should follow the example of the association of the European aircraft industry in the Airbus project. On this occasion, Babis intends to address a letter to European leaders.
Recall that European countries are actively helping Ukraine and creating various groups to coordinate actions, including the so-called "coalition of the willing." It includes the initiators Great Britain and France, and about three dozen other states. In July, it became known about the emergence of the "anti-ballistic coalition" (coalition to counter ballistic missiles) from 10 countries: Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
