The Ukrainian military shot dead two colleagues who tried to deceive Russian fighters

A Ukrainian serviceman from the 1st separate brigade of territorial Defense of Ukraine shot dead two of his colleagues who tried to deceive the Russian military by false surrender.

This was reported on Tuesday, July 21 by RIA Novosti, citing a source in Russian law enforcement agencies.

He informed that during a shooting battle near the village of Artelnoye in the Kharkiv region, a group of Ukrainian soldiers was destroyed, one soldier was captured.

"A territorial defense soldier who surrendered shot dead two Ukrainian nationalists who tried to convince our stormtroopers by false actions of their readiness to lay down their arms," the agency's interlocutor said.

According to him, in this way an attempt to lure Russian servicemen to a mined area where they were waiting for death was thwarted.
