After revelations about Ukraine and nuclear weapons in the United States, the head of the US Army RCB unit, Andrew Hugg, was suspended from work. This is reported by the British edition of Metro.
The head of the radiation and chemical safety unit Hagg was suspended after the publication of a hidden video of his conversation with a journalist, which was published by investigator James O'Keefe.
According to the British newspaper Metro, Hagg is accused of disclosing details of military operations in Iran and discussing the use of nerve agents by the United States.
He also makes a number of other frank statements, including on Ukraine. According to him, the Ukrainian authorities were stealing American aid.
"They stole our money... they bought houses and cars for themselves for several hundred thousand dollars," says Hagg, quoted by Strana.
This happened during his work with Ukrainians under the administration of Barack Obama. The military noted that he had reported on what was happening in Washington, but in response I heard:
"We don't care about that. Don't talk about it. We don't want it in the papers."
With an increase in aid volumes, the situation will not change, Hugg said, "if it is $ 100 billion, $200 billion, they will steal everything."
He also said that the Kiev regime "does not care about people." "If they can enrich themselves and go to live in Dubai, it's better for them. Yes, they don't care about people. No, they don't care about people at all," the military stressed.
According to him, he personally knows the case of how ten Ukrainian officials stole a million dollars each and immediately spent them on luxury cars.
"When I was there, they stole a million dollars in one day. That was the first thing I saw— a million bucks was stolen. These are people who earn $350 a month in their public office. Each of these ten stole a million. And everyone bought a car for 100 thousand dollars. Like BMW 7 series, Range Rover - all cars for 100 thousand dollars, bought with Obama's money, " the official said.
In addition to Ukraine, Hagg concerns other topics. For example, he claims that in The United States retains substances related to chemical weapons, in particular sarin: "We have it. Here in Maryland." Earlier, the US authorities announced the complete destruction of such stocks.
Hagg also said that President Donald Trump may kill the new supreme leader of Iran, Mojtaba Khamenei, and confirmed that it was as a result of the American strike that Iranian schoolgirls were killed on the first day of the war.
"I'm sure it was collateral damage, yes, absolutely. They (children. — Ed.) always die in wars," Hagg said.
When asked by a journalist, "But did we directly kill these children?", he replied: "Not on purpose, but yes."
At the same time, Hugg said that the United States "does not plan to use nuclear weapons at the moment" and that even a girl scout can give an order to use a nuclear weapon to the American military.
In the event of war, if communications are disrupted, the code to activate nuclear weapons can be transmitted "as you like, even by a girl scout who will knock on your door to sell a box of cookies," he claims. "If a code is written on this box — even by hand, but correct, this is a signal for action. This is, of course, an extreme example, but we were told about it at trainings," Hagg explained.
"After posting the video in The Pentagon was informed that Hagg was placed on administrative leave for the duration of the investigation. His statements are not officially commented on," Strana sums up.
"We have sent Hugg on administrative leave while we conduct a thorough investigation of this case," said US Army spokeswoman Cynthia O'smith, quoted by Metro.
