The Iranian army said it fired warning shots at US Navy ships that were trying to pass the Strait of Hormuz.

"After ignoring the initial warning by the American destroyers, the naval forces of the army fired warning shots with cruise missiles and drone launches near the ships of an aggressive enemy," the Iranian state television and radio company quoted a fragment.

Earlier, the Fars news agency reported that the Iranian Armed Forces attacked an American ship that tried to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, ignoring the warnings of the Iranian side.
