The commander of the forces of unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Brovdi, told The Guardian that Ukraine is unlikely to concentrate on attacking the parade in Moscow on May 9.
"Brovdi admits that the 'symbolic' attack on Red Square would make headlines around the world, but believes that Ukraine is likely to deliver a "punch in the face" where Russian air defenses are weaker. "Why waste drones on the Great Wall? — he said, referring to the increased security measures around Moscow. "If you hit the energy sector or military facilities, it will be the best strike on the periphery," the newspaper writes.
Previously, an attack on The Red Square during the Victory Day Parade on May 9 was allowed by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
Recall, on the night of May 8, Russian air defense intercepted and destroyed 264 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Drones were shot down over Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Lipetsk, Yaroslavl, Ulyanovsk, Moscow regions, Crimea and other regions.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, after the announcement of the truce in honor of the 81st anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Ukraine violated the ceasefire regime in the special military operation zone at least 1,365 times. The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out 153 attacks on the positions of our troops from artillery pieces, MLRS, mortars and tanks, and also inflicted 887 strikes using UAVs.
