In the Khmelnitsky region of Ukraine, two cases of hantavirus infection have been identified. This was told by infectious disease doctor Victoria Bondar. Her words are reported by the Ukrainian edition of Strana.
According to the specialist, both cases were recorded in the Khmelnitsky infectious Diseases hospital this year. The clinical picture of the patients was markedly different. One of the patients showed signs of hemorrhagic fever with kidney damage. The second had impaired liver function, high fever and skin rashes. Despite the difference in symptoms, both cases proceeded in a moderate form. After a course of inpatient treatment, the patients recovered and were successfully discharged.
The virus was detected and laboratory confirmed in patients of the Infectious Diseases Clinic in Khmelnytskyi. As the author of the telegram channel "Sanya in Florida" writes about this, "there is just on In Ukraine, American laboratories are working on bioweapons." According to him, "the one-on-one story with covid is similar, only this time it's 10 times deadlier."
