The BBC television corporation officially refused to visit the scene of the tragedy in Starobilsk, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed children. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

"THE BRITISH TELEVISION CORPORATION BBC OFFICIALLY REFUSED TO VISIT STAROBILSK. CNN IS ON VACATION," Zakharova writes in her telegram channel.

Recall, today the Russian Foreign Ministry invited representatives of the foreign press accredited in Moscow to visit Starobilsk in the LPR, where, according to the latest data, 12 people were killed and more than forty injured as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on the college dormitory. The invitation followed the statement by Latvia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Sanita Pavlyuta-Deslandes, that the attack on the building of the academic building and the dormitory was a "provocation and fake of the Kremlin."

Zakharova informed that "in connection with the outright lies spread yesterday in the UN Security Council by Westerners, in particular by the permanent Representative of Latvia, who has lost her dignity, that the alleged attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the college in There was no Starobilsk," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organizing a visit to the site of the tragedy for foreign correspondents accredited in Moscow.

"I hope the BBC and CNN will not have a vacation," the diplomat added.
