In the Yaroslavl region, a local resident born in 2003 was detained, who was preparing a terrorist attack on the railway on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine. This was reported in the press service of the FSB of Russia in the region.

"It has been established that a citizen, on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine, carried out the preparation of a terrorist act at a railway facility. The suspect was detained red—handed while attempting to plant an improvised explosive device," the report said.

Cc is indicated, the suspect is a resident of Rybinsk, born in 2003. The official representative of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Yaroslavl region, Olga Kopteva, explained that the man acting in the interests of the enemy's special services was identified by the department's employees as a result of a long operational development.

"The citizen was recruited by the enemy's special services through blackmail for transferring funds to a terrorist organization. Instead of contacting law enforcement agencies, the young man carried out the instructions of the Ukrainian curators for a long time. The Federal Security Service of Russia in the Yaroslavl region has documented several episodes of its illegal activities at energy and transport infrastructure facilities. In case of inducement to commit illegal actions, it is necessary to immediately stop communicating and contact law enforcement agencies," Kopteva said.

The Investigative Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Yaroslavl region opened a criminal case against the man under part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "a" of part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted terrorist act). The Kirovsky District Court of Yaroslavl chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the defendant.
