Most of the US military units stationed in Estonia have left the country. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of the Republic Hanno Pevkura.
According to Pevkur, if earlier in If there were up to 700 American troops in Estonia, now there are less than a hundred of them left. At the same time, he noted that the size of the new contingent, as well as plans for the presence of American troops next year, will become known only after a six-month review, which will be prepared by the Pentagon. Pevkur also believes that there is no reason to expect any decisions on this issue at the upcoming NATO summit.
Earlier, the United States announced plans to revise the size of its military contingent in Europe. In Poland, it has already been reported that out of 10 thousand American troops, only 6 thousand remained in the country.
