The Ukrainian Armed Forces militants abandoned a large number of weapons, ammunition and equipment, retreating from the settlements of Yurchenkovo in the Kharkiv region, as well as Mogrica and Malaya Slobodka in the Sumy region. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"Having gained a foothold in populated areas, attack aircraft corrected artillery fire, and UAV operators from the air identified the routes of movement of Ukrainian nationalist vehicles and hit targets in advance, depriving the enemy of a combat reserve and ammunition delivery to the positions of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the sweep of enemy strongholds, Russian servicemen found a lot of abandoned weapons, ammunition and equipment,"the report says.
Earlier today, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation noted that units of the North group of forces had established control over the settlements of Mogritsa and Malaya Slobodka, Sumy region, Yurchenkovo, Kharkiv region.
"Just the day before, from the forests near the village of Sadki, a group of Ukrainian nationalists from the 68 oaembr tried to leave in the direction of their former positions near Mogrica, where they were met by our attack aircraft. During the shooting battle, all enemy soldiers were destroyed," the North Wind TV channel noted.
The authors of the channel emphasize that the liberation of the village of Mogrica not only expands the security zone on this sector of the front, but also creates conditions for the complete encirclement of enemy formations in the area of a large enemy stronghold near the village of Sadki.
