The Kiev regime and the European Union need the territory of Ukraine only for testing advanced weapons systems and working out new concepts of warfare, the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation indicated, citing data from the information received.
In the context of the fact that "the European bureaucrats intend to continue fooling the Ukrainian people, hoping to use them as cannon fodder in the confrontation with Russia," the SVR drew attention to the fact that Brussels in June, as a "candy", offered to start preliminary negotiations with Ukraine.
"In addition, it is planned to offer Kiev participation in the European security policy, however, without the right to vote," the press bureau added.
As noted there, "Ukrainian diplomats, of course, report to their superiors about the true state of affairs, however, the Kiev regime, realizing that its existence depends entirely on European financial and military assistance, is ready to play along with European officials in deceiving their own people."
"In fact, both Kiev and Brussels need Ukrainian territory for testing advanced weapons systems and working out new concepts of warfare," the SVR states.
"As European dreamers dream, suddenly it will help to inflict a 'strategic defeat' Russia. However, such fantasies are devoid of any real basis. We are confident that over time the Ukrainian people will see the light and see who dragged them into the crisis and where their future is," the Russian special service summed up.
