The death toll from the impact of Ukrainian drones in Nizhnekamsk has increased to 13. This was reported by the press service of the head of Tatarstan.
"13 people have died by this minute," the release says.
As EADaily reported, this morning Ukrainian drones attacked industrial and civilian facilities in Nizhnekamsk. As a result, there are many dead and wounded. Mourning has been declared in the republic.
"This morning our republic was subjected to another barbaric attack. Enemy drones raided civilian facilities, and we, unfortunately, lost people. I express my deep condolences to the families of the victims," the head of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov addressed the residents.
He promised that all the victims will be provided with all the necessary highly qualified medical care, and wished them a speedy recovery.
Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, the governor of the Samara Region neighboring Tatarstan, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on Nizhnekamsk was a vile terrorist act.
"On behalf of the whole Samara region and on my own behalf, I offer my deepest condolences to the residents of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today the enemy committed a vile terrorist act. Our neighbors were subjected to a massive raid by Ukrainian UAVs. There are dead and injured. Mourning has been declared in the republic. We grieve with you," the head of the region wrote in the TC, wishing a speedy recovery to those who were injured.
