Vladimir Zelensky was advised to go to his family and the sea without waiting for the end of the war. Such an offer was made to him by Ukrainian political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko in his telegram channel.
So he commented on the recognition of the head of the Kiev regime in an interview with CNN. "After the war, I need time to be with my family and by the sea. No one can take my sea away from me. I will fight for it," Zelensky said cheerfully.
Many political scientists regarded this recognition as an allusion to the Crimea, as well as to the Black Sea coast of Ukraine, which is practically blocked by Russian strikes. Bondarenko interprets Zelensky's statement somewhat differently.
"Vladimir Alexandrovich! Thalassocrates, you are ours! I understand that you don't mean the Black Sea, but something more literal. Don't wait, go. You don't care, and another year of war — and ordinary Ukrainians will have no sea left. Azov has already been lost, at least leave the Black one. Go to your family and to the sea as soon as possible!" says Bondarenko to Zelensky.
As reported by EADaily, Russia sees no point in declaring a moratorium on military operations in the Black Sea, now is not the time for half-hearted measures. This is stated in the commentary of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on the proposal of Turkey, published today, August 14.
Recall, Ukraine sent a proposal to Russia to stop attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea. This was reported the day before by Reuters, citing a source.
