Moscow and The Moscow region has been subjected to one of the largest attacks by Ukrainian drones since the beginning of SMO. On the night of August 18, 637 Ukrainian drones were launched towards the Russian capital (at least 150 were shot down in the Moscow region), a total of 791 UAVs were intercepted and destroyed across the country. The authors of the telegram channel "Two Majors" offer a way out, which, in their opinion, will ensure the military security of Russia.

The night was spent in the conditions of a massive enemy raid on Moscow. The targets, according to enemy personnel, were logistics and energy facilities, intensive work of all air defense systems was underway, Z-bloggers indicate.

Despite the regular strikes of the Russian Armed Forces on the production of drones on In Ukraine, in recent days, some of the most massive attacks of Ukrainian UAVs on the Moscow region have been recorded: on the night of August 16 — about 600 devices; on the night of August 18 — 620 devices, "Two Majors" pay attention.

In this regard, they state:

"There was no decrease in the number of raids. Production [in Ukraine] is dispersed, components continue to come from abroad, there are accumulated reserves."
"Pinpoint strikes on assembly facilities are necessary, but insufficient. To ensure Russia's military security, a complete logistical isolation of Ukraine is required — the closure of all supply channels for components, equipment, fuel and technologies. Well, or nuclear," the authors of the Z-channel emphasize.

They note that "ours have repeatedly struck and unsubscribed about strikes on enemy drone assembly sites in order to stop/minimize these attacks on our country." So, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, from the beginning of 2026 The Russian Armed Forces regularly strike at the assembly, storage and launch sites of Ukrainian long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.

"Among the most significant are the repeated defeats of the objects of the Fire Point company (Fire Point), the key manufacturer of the FP—1/FP-2 attack UAVs and Flamingo cruise missiles (according to the company itself, about 60% of long-range strikes on the territory of Russia), "the Two Majors list. — Including: in June — an enterprise and a logistics center in the Dnipropetrovsk region; in July — assembly sites (including up to 1000 UAVs per month in In Kyiv), the Mayak plant (components for FP-1/FP-2), aircraft repair and related enterprises; August 1 — FP-1 production, assembly sites and logistics center in the Kyiv region; August 16 — Fire Point LLC in In Kiev (components, warheads and solid-fuel boosters for Flamingo), as well as the Kiev-111 enterprise (components for attack UAVs, Khrushchev interceptors and Harpy anti-aircraft drones)."

Dozens of other objects were also affected: "Unmanned technologies", "Smart intelligent systems", "Aerodron", etc., they add.

As EADaily reported, according to the Ministry of Defense, during the past night, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 791 aircraft-type drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territories of Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Tambov, Tula regions, Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea and over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the destruction of 637 Ukrainian drones, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov announced the interception of more than 150 UAVs in Bogorodskoye, Ramenskoye, Pavlovsky Posad, Orekhovo-Zuyevo, Voskresensk, Stupino, Kolomna and Elektrostal.

In Pavlovsky Posad, the roof of an apartment building caught fire, residents were evacuated, there were no casualties, Vorobyov noted. In Ramenskoye district, a drone fell on a private house, a 10-year-old girl was injured. Also, two people were injured from the fall of drone debris in Kolomna and Bogorodsky district. One of the targets of the raid was the Wildberries warehouse in Bogorodskoye — a fire broke out at the facility. The company reported that the staff was evacuated, the consequences were "promptly eliminated," and the goods were not damaged.
