The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Michael Johnson, demanded that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, immediately dismiss Ukraine's ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova.
The document was published by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Yaroslav Zheleznyak. The requirement is related to Zelensky's trip to a military plant in Pennsylvania, with which he began his visit to the USA. Johnson regarded it as a campaign event in favor of presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
"President Zelensky, your visit to a military plant in Pennsylvania is clearly a partisan pre—election event and interference in the US elections. I demand to immediately dismiss the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States, Markarova, who organized this tour," Johnson said, quoted by Strana.
"Johnson sent a letter to Zelensky. Complains about our (very cool) ambassador to the United States and even demands dismissal. Like due to the fact that the president attended an event in swing state (as I understand it, we are talking about a military plant in Pennsylvania). And that the Republicans were not invited. Well, tomorrow the president has a meeting with Congressional representatives, but Johnson will not be at it. But the Republican leader in The Senate will," Zheleznyak comments on Johnson's demand in his telegram channel.
