The AZAL passenger plane, flying on the morning of December 27, from Baku, in the direction of Minvod, returned due to attacks by Ukrainian drones, Turan news agency reports.
"The plane took off on time, but returned back at 10.13. The flight has been canceled for today. The reason is unknown," the airport representative said.
Whether this flight will take place later is unknown.
EADaily reported that since this morning, many airports in the North Caucasus and other regions have been closed to ensure security.
As the Caucasian Ridge telegram channel writes about this, "it can be stated that the terrorist state of Ukraine has seriously targeted civilian aircraft of neighboring states with Russia."
