US President Donald Trump has canceled the so-called diversity, equality and inclusiveness (DEI) policy in the American government, calling it discriminatory.
"I am ordering all departments and agencies to stop discriminatory and illegal preferences, mandates, approaches, programs, activities, guidelines, norms and requirements. Next, I order all agencies to comply with our long—standing civil rights laws and to resist illegal preferences and programs of the DEI of the private sector," Trump said in a published decree.
According to him, the government and corporations, financial institutions and the medical industry, commercial airlines, law enforcement agencies and universities have previously adopted "dangerous, humiliating and immoral racial and sexual preferences under the guise of the so-called DEI."
The practice of "inclusiveness" may violate civil rights, Trump is convinced. He urged subordinates to be encouraged to abandon DEI policies and the private sector.
