The troops of the Kiev regime can be withdrawn from The Kursk region for two weeks, as the prospects for their further stay on Russian territory have become threatening.
This is reported by the American edition of The New York Post, citing sources in the Ukrainian military command.
It is noted that Russian troops have increased the intensity of attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, having achieved significant progress in the Kursk region. As a result, the entire Kursk operation of Kiev is "on the verge of collapse."
According to the interlocutors of the publication, in the next two weeks the Ukrainian army may abandon the operation, "citing limited access to and from the region."
Meanwhile, Russian military publications report that in the northern sector of the Kursk front, Ukrainian units began to withdraw in order to avoid local encirclement.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are retreating to the Cossack Lokna under the cover of rearguards. As a result, the settlements of Staraya Sorochina, Nikolaevka, Nikolsky were liberated. The battles for Malaya Loknya began.
It is expected that the forces released in this way will be transferred to strengthen the neck of the semi-peninsula, into which the entire Sudzhansky ledge has actually turned.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the situation of the Kiev regime's grouping of troops in the Kursk region continues to deteriorate rapidly — Russian troops have practically cut off most of it from the border with Ukraine.
