The Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai was illuminated with the colors of the Russian flag in honor of Russia Day.
The building is the tallest in the world. The video is published by Channel Five.
This is not the first time the UAE authorities have congratulated Russia with a giant tricolor. Last year, on June 12, the skyscraper was also highlighted in a similar way.
Many foreign leaders congratulated Russia today. Russian President Vladimir Putin received congratulations from the Presidents of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. Festive telegrams were received from Sultan of Oman Haysam bin Tariq Al Said, leader of the DPRK Kim Jong-un, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
The construction of the Burj Khalifa Tower began in 2004 and ended in 2010. Its height is 828 meters. The building has 163 floors.
