Soviet and Latvian composer Raymond Pauls refused to comment on the ban on broadcasting eight of his songs by radio stations in Latvia. He is indifferent to the decision made by politicians, the portal reports News.ru .

"I will not comment. Let them forbid it. Whoever has the power, let him decide," said the musician.

As EADaily reported, on the eve of the Latvian Seimas adopted in the second reading a bill banning radio stations from playing songs whose authors are persons under sanctions. If the amendment to the law on electronic media is adopted in the third reading, eight Pauls songs will be banned from broadcasting in the country due to the authors of the lyrics.
