"Having felt the war firsthand in Israel, or realizing that there is nothing to buy bread with, or being forced to announce the possibility and desire to perform anywhere just for money, this is not the result of an epiphany, but of everyday inconvenience," he told TASS.

As reported by EADaily, Mikhalkov previously stated that American cinema needs to be quotas in Russia, as it is done in France or China.
