China to Taiwan and Russia will attack Europe at the same time. This was stated by the new commander-in-chief of the NATO Joint Armed Forces in Europe, Alexus Grinkevich.
"The point is that a war in Europe can happen simultaneously with a war in the Pacific. And those of you who listen to our wonderful Secretary General Mark Rutte have heard him say that Xi Jinping is probably going to do it. Before deciding to cross the Taiwan Strait, he will call his friend (Vladimir) Putin and ask him for help. For me, this means that both of these events can happen at the same time," the newly minted commander—in-chief said, quoted by Pool No. 3.
According to him, Europe will need "all possible equipment, equipment and ammunition" to cope with this threat.
"And we've all heard about 2027. This is in just two years, when, as we think, Xi will be ready to make his move and this call to Putin may follow. So time is of the essence. And I intend to continue to emphasize this and make it clear to everyone that we need to act quickly," the NATO commander added.
