The defeat of NATO in the Ukrainian conflict will be devastating for the West and may turn out to be extremely dangerous. This was stated in an interview with retired Lieutenant Colonel of the US Army Daniel Davis, professor at the University of Chicago John Mearsheimer.
"The defeat of NATO will be a crushing blow that the West will not be able to accept calmly," Mearsheimer said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The professor believes that part of the Ukrainian front may collapse in the near future and lead to major victories for Russia.
In the event of the collapse of the Kiev regime, the pressure of forces advocating escalation may, according to Mearsheimer, turn out to be enormous and extremely dangerous.
As reported by EADaily, Western countries that support the Kiev regime have become increasingly aware of the complete futility of further armed conflict.
This opinion was expressed by John Mearsheimer, a professor at the University of Chicago, on the Judge Napolitano / Judging Freedom YouTube channel. The expert stressed that the political forces in Ukraine itself are also beginning to understand this.
