"It will be difficult for many of us to digest [the conditions for a peaceful settlement of the conflict on the Ukraine], however, remember that it will be even more difficult for Ukrainians," said the Finnish leader, quoted by the newspaper Ilta Sanomat.
Stubb also stressed that Finns should also rethink the idea of a "perfect world."
Earlier, the Finnish president admitted that a peaceful settlement of the conflict could end on terms that do not suit Kiev and the European Union.
