The agreement on the settlement of the military conflict is a bilateral document, Ukraine will sign it with the United States, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said.

"If we talk exclusively about this 20-point framework, it is still a bilateral document that will be signed by the United States and Ukraine. Well and with Russia — must be signed by the United States. At the moment, such a design is being discussed, but negotiations are still ongoing, this is a process," the minister said in an interview with European Truth.

Journalists have noticed that one of the points of the peace plan concerns Ukraine's accession to the European Union. Sibiga noted that "even if there is no EU signature on the document, there cannot be any points in it that are not agreed with the European allies."

As EADaily reported, Sibiga also said that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, was ready to meet with Vladimir Putin to resolve issues of territories and the Zaporozhye NPP. At the same time, Sibiga does not see the need to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

"We should not create parallel tracks. There are formed negotiating teams, which include representatives of the Foreign Ministry. And the creation of additional tracks is not in time, it is not necessary," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister explained.

The first day of trilateral security consultations was held in Abu Dhabi on January 23. The second meeting was held on January 24. The Russian negotiating group was headed by the Chief of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Igor Kostyukov. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov was at the head of the Ukrainian part of the trilateral working group. Special Envoy of the US President Steve Witkoff confirmed plans for a new round of trilateral talks next week.
