As soon as the peace agreement is signed, Kiev will receive military support from "those countries that agreed" in the form of troops, aircraft and fleet. This was announced today, February 3, by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, speaking in the Verkhovna Rada.
At the same time, other NATO members "will help in a different way" — the politician did not specify exactly how. According to him, the military bloc will continue to support Kiev.
Rutte noted that NATO has supplied Ukraine with 90% of air defense systems since the summer of 2025, as well as 75% of the missiles required by Ukraine. In addition, Western countries have already agreed on a plan for Russia's military response if it violates the peace treaty — the "coalition of the willing" will begin hostilities in 72 hours.
