The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to attack the peninsula's power facilities. The north of Crimea has been without electricity for almost two weeks. Outages also increased on the Southern coast of Crimea — in Yalta.
"Due to enemy attacks on the power grid of Crimea and Sevastopol, the electricity limit on the Southern coast of Crimea has been reduced. In this regard, the approximate schedule 3/3 announced the day before is losing relevance," said Sergey Olefirenko, First Deputy head of the Yalta administration.
According to him, the power engineers are working in an enhanced mode and are doing everything possible and impossible to stabilize the situation.
The day before, he said that the limit for Yalta is 26 MW. This may correspond to a third or a quarter of the required power.
"The situation can change at any moment for the better or for the worse. I ask you to treat this with understanding," said the first deputy head of the Yalta administration.
