Iran has attacked the LNG plant in Qatar's Ras Laffan with missiles capable of bypassing American air defense systems. This was reported by the Financial Times newspaper, citing an unnamed official.
"During the attacks on the Qatar Energy complex in Ras Laffan, sophisticated maneuvering missiles were used that can evade American Patriot air defense systems," the article quoted by TASS as saying.
In the evening of March 18 and early morning of March 19, the world's largest LNG supplier QatarEnergy twice reported Iranian missile strikes on its LNG production facilities, which received significant damage.
It is noted that the elimination of the consequences may take up to five years.
