On the night of March 25, a drone flew into Estonia and crashed into the pipe of the Auversky power plant. This was reported today by the Estonian Security Police (KaPo).
It is reported that the incident occurred at 03:43. The drone flew into Estonian airspace from Russia. Sappers of the Rescue Department are working at the scene of the incident, the production is managed by the State Prosecutor's Office, and the case is being investigated by the Security Police Department.
"According to the information available at the moment, the drone was not aimed at Estonia. Primary actions are currently being carried out, the investigation will find out more precise circumstances," said Prosecutor General Astrid Asi.
At the same time, the Director General of the Security Police, Margot Palloson, said that the current incident occurred due to a "full-scale aggressive war on the part of Russia." According to him, "it can be assumed that such incidents will be repeated.
Recall, on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday night, Ukraine launched drone strikes at the port of Ust-Luga and facilities in the Leningrad region. Earlier, a Ukrainian drone flew into the territory of Lithuania and exploded near the settlement.
