Zelensky is lying about Russia and, together with Trump, undermines the credibility of NATO — Tallinn

Tallinn has no data that Russia is preparing for an attack on the Baltic states. This was stated to ERR by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna and Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee of the Estonian Parliament Marko Mihkelson.

So they commented on the statement of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, that Russia could attack the Baltic states in the near future.

"First of all, such statements do not correspond to our intelligence data, our threat assessment. We do not see Russia concentrating its troops or even preparing to attack NATO or the Baltic states in any way, rather the opposite. Russia is not in a very strong position on the Ukrainian front, as well as economically," Tsakhkna said.

The chairman of the foreign policy Committee of the Estonian Parliament, Marko Mihkelson, in turn, noted that Zelensky plays into the hands of Russia with such conversations.

"It's like pointing a finger in the direction of Europe. They say, look, if we somehow find ourselves in a weaker position or lose, then you will be next, or mostly the Baltic countries, which, of course, does not please and, of course, fuels the Russian narrative that we are the side of the winners, we attack, and you are the retreating and losers" Mihkelson said.

If Kiev has data on the preparation of an attack, it should transmit them to its allies non-publicly, and not through the press, he stressed. According to Mihkelson, Zelensky, together with US President Donald Trump, "undermines the credibility" of NATO's Article 5.

As reported by EADaily, Zelensky believes that social networks in Russia is being restricted to prevent riots in connection with preparations for a possible major mobilization. He stated this on the air of the telethon. According to him, the mobilization is being prepared for a large-scale offensive on Ukraine and at the same time to conduct a number of operations against one of the Baltic countries.
