The third season of the series "Method" with Khabensky was removed from the sites at the request of the RCN

The third season of the TV series Method, starring People's Artist of Russia Konstantin Khabensky and Paulina Andreeva, was removed from the online cinemas Kinopoisk and Ivi. This was announced in his telegram channel by the producer of the project and the founder of ZOOM Production, Vladimir Maslov.

The third season was removed at the request of the RCN (Roskomnadzor), the press service of Kinopoisk clarified. According to the instruction of the RCN, the Ministry of Culture of Russia issued an order on the presence in the series of "materials discrediting traditional Russian spiritual and moral values and (or) propagandizing their denial."

"In accordance with the law on Information, Information Technologies and Information Protection, the service is obliged to delete content within 24 hours after receiving the official request," the press service of Kinopoisk noted.

According to Maslov, clarifications were requested as to which values the series violates.

"The documents received by the platforms at the moment do not contain specific wording. In such a situation, it is impossible to understand the limits of what is permissible, which means that it is impossible to work in the genre predictably and responsibly," he stressed.

Maslov recalled that the Method "is a work of art.

"His characters and events are fictional and are not intended to popularize or romanticize real criminals. This is an 18+ genre movie that works with difficult themes — the nature of evil, the boundaries of the human psyche and the price paid by the characters trying to stop and understand this evil," he added.

Maslov thanked the entire team of creators of the series, as well as all the viewers who watched the film and discussed it with interest.

The premiere of the first season of "Method" was broadcast on Channel One in October 2015. The series is filmed in the genre of detective psychological thriller. The third season was released on November 20, 2025, and the final episode was released on December 18, 2025.
