Zelensky noticed suspicious activity on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. He stated this in his evening video message, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

According to him, on May 1 there was a "rather specific activity" on the sections of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border from Belarus. At the same time, the head of the Kiev regime did not disclose any details.

"We are carefully recording everything, monitoring everything and, if necessary, we will respond. Ukraine is ready to defend its people and its sovereignty," Zelensky said.

He added that Ukraine is preparing several new sanctions packages against Belarus for today and the near future.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDC Andrei Kovalenko commented on the situation more cautiously. According to him, "only minor provocations" are possible from the Belarusian side, which "will cost more to the Belarusian side."
