The results of the completed state visit of US President Donald Trump to China actually indicate the end of the period of US global leadership.

This is reported by the publication Strategic Culture, noting that this visit was in many ways a global landmark.

"The bravado that Trump had previously demonstrated towards China is a thing of the past. His tough statements about making demands on China's trade with the United States are also a thing of the past," the publication says.

Its author points out that China is becoming a global economic superpower, and the United States is "carefully balancing on the edge." At the same time, one should not be deceived by the pomposity that Beijing rendered to the American leader.

"It was the act of a power that understands that it has an advantage," the article says.

Earlier, EADaily reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping offered the United States assistance in ensuring navigation through the Strait of Hormuz amid the ongoing conflict around Iran.
