The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, congratulated the people of Georgia on Independence Day, which is celebrated today, May 26.
"I congratulate Georgia and the Georgian people on Independence Day. Our two peoples have long-standing ties and a common understanding of the values of freedom and dignity. I wish Georgia peace, unity, strength and prosperity. We hope for mutually beneficial relations, and Ukraine is ready to move in this direction," Zelensky wrote on Twitter.
As EADaily reported, Kiev's relations with Tbilisi cooled down after the Georgian Dream refused to open a second front against Russia, which was demanded by representatives of Ukraine. Tbilisi also refused to officially send to Ukraine has its own military, but the extremist "Georgian Legion", involved in the torture and murder of Russians, has been fighting there since 2014. Kiev recalled the ambassador from Tbilisi, but periodically appeals to the people of Georgia, ignoring the country's authorities, and assures him of friendship.
