Krasnodar governor Kondratiev stopped the escape of subordinates from the region

The leadership of the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, famous for the mass detentions of officials in corruption cases, is now prohibited from traveling outside the region. This was ordered by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.

The order of the head of the region applies to deputy heads of the region, heads of regional ministries and departments.

"In the conditions of modern challenges, we all need to work on high alert. Therefore, I have decided that my deputies and heads of state authorities cannot leave the territory of the Krasnodar Territory. Residents and tourists will have a rest, and we will also ensure their safety," said Kondratiev.

As noted, this decision was made "to maintain the high readiness of the region's management system in the conditions of the operation of the medium-level response regime in the Krasnodar Territory."

"The restriction is also valid during holidays and non-working hours, except for business trips. The heads of cities and districts of the Krasnodar Territory are also recommended to be guided by this order," the document says.

As EADaily reported, the Krasnodar Territory is regularly attacked by Ukrainian drones. The last one occurred on June 2, the target was the Ilsky oil refinery. Prior to that, the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted a series of strikes on the seaport and the refinery in Tuapse. Due to the multi-day fires, the concentration of benzene, xylene and soot in the air exceeded the norm several times, a "black rain" fell in the city, and oil products got into the river and the Black Sea. At the end of May, oil ports in Temryuk and Novorossiysk were attacked.

As for the detentions of Krasnodar officials, according to the latest data, the Prosecutor General's Office demanded that the assets of the current vice-governor of the region, Andrei Korobka, his relatives and trusted persons be turned into state income as obtained through corruption. We are talking about property with a cadastral value of more than 10 billion rubles. According to Kommersant, these are 135 land plots, 100 buildings, 12 premises, 2 structures, as well as shares in 12 companies with a capitalization of about 6.5 billion rubles and lease rights for 12.5 thousand hectares of fertile land. The market value of assets may exceed 100 billion rubles.

Anti-corruption campaign in The Krasnodar Territory began in 2025. Since then, the security forces have detained three vice-governors: Anna Minkova, Alexander Vlasov and Alexander Nesterenko. They are charged with fraud and abuse of authority. In addition, Transport Minister Alexei Pereverzev and Health Minister Yevgeny Filippov were detained. Both were accused of fraud.

In February, the court granted the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office to former and current State Duma deputies from the Krasnodar Territory Anatoly Voronovsky and Andrei Doroshenko, as well as deputy of the legislative assembly of the region Alexander Karpenko. Also, in the case of embezzlement and bribes, Sochi Mayor Alexei Kopaygorodsky, who was Kondratiev's deputy at the same time as Voronovsky, was arrested. In January, assets worth 1.6 billion rubles were seized from him.
