Militants from the 5th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine (NSU) escaped from their positions east of Petro-Ivanovka in the Kharkiv region, leaving the mined corpses of their own "twin brothers" in place.
This was reported on Friday, June 12 by the RIA Novosti news agency, citing an informed source in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
"A combat group from the 5th separate brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine fled from their positions east of Petro-Ivanovka, leaving the mined remains of their own colleagues in their positions," the agency's interlocutor informed.
He also said that currently Russian attack aircraft from the North group of forces are engaged in intense battles in the forests near the settlement of Veliky Burluk in the Kharkiv region.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Vostok group of forces, conducting offensive operations in the Orekhovsky sector, came close to the settlement of Novoselovka in the Zaporozhye region.
