Majority (71%) Russians positively assess the work of Russian President Vladimir Putin in his post, 69% of respondents trust the head of state. This is 4% lower than in the previous study, according to the website of the Public Opinion Foundation.
A week ago, according to the FOM survey, 75% of Russians positively assessed the work of the president (maximum — 80% in February), and 74% trusted him (maximum — 80% in February).
The majority (44%) of respondents are confident that the Russian government is working rather well (a decrease of 4% per week), 34% of Russians answered that they are rather dissatisfied with the work of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation. The work of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is positively assessed by 52% of citizens (unchanged), 15% of respondents do not approve of his work.
Respondents were also asked to imagine that elections to the State Duma will be held next Sunday. More than a third (35%) of respondents said they would vote for United Russia, 10% would vote for the Liberal Democratic Party, 9% for the Communist Party, 7% for the New People party, 3% for A Just Russia.
The weekly survey "FOMnibus" was conducted on June 19-21 among 1.5 thousand respondents over the age of 18 from 97 settlements in 51 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The survey method is an interview at the respondent's place of residence.
