In Solnechnogorsk, near Moscow, the birthday celebration turned into a tragedy. As a result of mass poisoning, two people died, six more were hospitalized.
As the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of the Moscow region reported on Saturday, June 27, eight people were poisoned with an unknown substance in a private household in the Solnechnogorsk city district during a birthday celebration.
"Two victims died before the arrival of the ambulance crew, six more people were hospitalized in a medical facility," the statement said.
Telegram channel 112, for its part, reports that the dead are 26—year-old Timur O. and 25-year-old Mirazbek O. Three more participants of the festivities are in serious condition.
At the moment, the department's employees are establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The Solnechnogorsk City Prosecutor's Office controls the process.
"The final conclusions about the causes of the poisoning will be made based on the results of the preliminary investigation and forensic examinations," the prosecutors promised.
Earlier, EADaily reported that in early June in Mass poisoning occurred in Pyatigorsk in one of the local cafes. As a result, 34 people were hospitalized.
