In Kursk, damage to residential buildings was recorded after an attack by Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles. This was announced on July 7 by the governor of the Kursk region Alexander Khinshtein.
"Several enemy drones were shot down in the sky over Kursk. There is damage to private residential buildings in different parts of the city. One of the UAVs crashed into the technical floor of a high—rise building on Klykov Avenue," the governor said in the Maks messenger.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties, specialists are examining the scene.
Khinshtein clarified that information about the consequences of the attack is being established. Deputy Governor Oleg Goryachev and the head of Kursk Yevgeny Maslov were sent to the scene of the incident. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Rosgvardiya and the police also work there.
It was noted that in the morning the house will be examined by the damage assessment commission.
